As we head towards Christmas, we're setting aside 40 days to seek God together through prayer and fasting.
Christmas is a significant opportunity for us to share the hope of Jesus with our community. As we prepare for our Christmas outreaches, we want to begin by preparing our own hearts. More than simply asking God to bless what we're doing, we want to draw closer to Him, seek His direction and grow in our relationship with Him.
We invite everyone in our church family to be part of this season by setting aside regular time to pray and considering what they might fast from. This could be food, technology or other distractions that compete for our attention and make it harder to focus on God.
Let's make space to hear His voice, grow in our spiritual hunger and pray for the people and communities we're reaching this Christmas. May everything we do flow from a deeper relationship with Him.
